After months of revelations on Cuccinelli's connection to the developing Star Scientific Scandal, Cuccinelli's campaign is involved in another scandal involving his time as Attorney General. Virginia's Inspector General recently launched an investigation into Cuccinelli's office for giving legal advice to two out-of-state energy companies that are being sued by Virginia landowners for nearly $30 million in royalties. A subsidiary of one of those gas companies has donated more than $100,000 to Cuccinelli's campaign.
